This week the Talk early, talk often series continues on the SAAM Blog with a guest post from Annie Gebhardt, MPH, Training Specialist at NSVRC.
If you are exposed to any form of media and marketing, you may be in on the fact that February is a time when love is in the air. In my local grocery store there is an inflatable fountain surrounded by chocolate piles, shades of pink, and bears.


Holidays often bring us back home to family and loved ones. Home and family look and feel different to each of us, and our feelings toward gathering for the holidays may run the gamut as well. In these moments of connecting, celebrating and rest, when traditions are practiced and created, consider taking small steps to express and support healthy development.
