This training is specficially designed for experienced professionals who come in contact with child victims and childhood survivors of sexual abuse, who are also part of or wish to become part of an Multidisciplinary Team (MDT). Topics to be covered during the training include: interviewing a child: the continuum of disclosure through testimony; children beyond normal child behavior; adolescents who recant; and breaking the cultural barriers of multi-generational abuse. Presenters include Jack F. Coyne, MD FAAP, Medical Director of Erie, Niagara, and Genesee County Child Avocacy Center and Eileen Treacy, Ph.D., Adjunct Professor at Herbert H. Lehman College of the City University of New York and Independent Court Expert and Expert Witness.
