Today's youth have integrated the use of digital devices into their daily lives and utilize social media apps to communicate with the world around them. Technology integration that encourages social interaction and self-expression presents new opportunities for youth, while at the same time challenges parents and child advocates as we work together to keep youth healthy and safe. Join us, as we discuss effective planning for community outreach, consideration of topics covered, and available resources.

About: Christine Feller is a Cyber Crime Specialist within the High Tech Crimes Bureau of the Illinois Office of the Attorney General. Within this position, Ms. Feller disseminates CyberTipline leads received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) to affiliate Internet Crimes Against Children agencies across the state. In addition, she educates and empowers children, parents and community members, on their role as digital citizens. She discusses the topics of exploitation, cyberbullying, sexting, and piracy in relation to technologies used by children. Prior to joining the IL AG ICAC, Christine spent ten years at NCMEC, predominantly in the Child Victim Identification Program. Create awareness of online safety resources as well as digital safety curriculum.
