Engaging Men & Boys in Domestic and Sexual Violence Prevention

Participants will share in the history of the domestic and sexual violence movements. Gaining insight into the role of men in the movement over the years. Accomplishments, challenges and lessons learned will be discussed, deepening our understanding and definition of men's work in domestic and sexual violence prevention today. Participants will gain insight into the intersections of oppression as it relates to domestic and sexual violence prevention. Ideas and strategies for engaging men and boys, including starting programs, projects and initiatives to promote domestic and sexual violence prevention will be addressed.
