MESA's 2011 Bandana Project

Its time to prevent sexual violence against farm worker and low wage immigrant worker women. The goal of this educational event is to raise consciousness and promote social action about the sexual violence experienced by farm worker and low-wage immigrant worker women. Participants will have the opportunity to create artwork on white bandanas which will be displayed at the Purdue Latino Cultural Center throughout the month of April. The event will also feature an educational workshop and the opportunity to join a social action group to prevent sexual violence and harassment against farm worker an low wage immigrant women.
