Who should attend: *Researchers interested in criminal justice *Policymakers responsible for shaping public safty or social services *Practitioners in criminal justice *Students interrested in criminal justice issues The National Institute of Justice's annual confreence brings together criminal justice scholars, policymakers, and practioners at the local State, and Federal levels to share the most recent findings from research and technology. The conference showcases what works, what doesn't work, and what the research shows as promising. The 2008 conference will also include NIJ's Annual DNA Grantees Workshop, which will provide a forum on the needs of DNA crime laboratiries and new technological innovations.
