This training module, formatted as a slideshow presentation with audio, is designed to provide information and resources on the issues of stalking and sexual misconduct for resident assistants/resident advisors (RAs) on college campuses. The module ends with a quiz to test users' understanding of the information presented.  A Module User's Guide is also available.

This online program is a basic victim advocacy training offering victim services providers and allied professionals the opportunity to acquire the basic skills and knowledge they need to better assist victims of crime. Specific information is also provided to meet the needs of target populations. Each module in VAT Online is taught using interactive methodologies, case studies, exercises and other suggested activities to enhance the user’s learning. Each module or section takes about 30–60 minutes to complete. *Registration is required.

Prevention Pathways, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP)

Each year, more than 500,000 non-fatal violent crimes are committed against women. These crimes include sexual assault, rape, intimate partner violence, and elder abuse. Many of these crimes involve the use of alcohol or other drugs. The course describes these "hidden problems" and identifies risk factors, screening and assessment tools, prevention and intervention strategies, tools for clients, and legal issues.

The Office for Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center (OVC TTAC)

Designed for use by trainers, this 2-day curriculum teaches advocates about advocacy/counseling, the realities and impact of sexual assault, procedures to follow in common situations, techniques to support recovery, and compassion fatigue and self-care. The curriculum focuses on intervening with individuals in a crisis rather than long-term and group counseling.

This 11-module online course discusses substance abuse, violence against women, the connection between the two, signs and symptoms, myths, how to see if a problem exists, as well as prevention, treatment and legal options.

National Judicial Education Program of Legal Momentum

This online course covers the legal, medical and social science aspects of intimate partner sexual abuse. It is focused on judges but is also intended for a multidisciplinary audience including court personnel. You can treat this website as a course and take it straight through or as a resource, accessing the background resources, modules, developing issues, recommendations and case studies on an as-needed basis.

Center for Sex Offender Management

This curriculum provides information and materials (lecture content, presentation slides, and references) designed to equip knowledgeable trainers to plan and deliver an introductory training on understanding sex offenders.
