We know that ending sexual violence takes courage and commitment – we want to hear how you are making your community safer! The NSVRC is on a mission to share the many ways that people have stepped in to end sexual violence. Our hope is that these stories will inspire others to take action to create a world without violence. We are inviting people share and read about engaged bystanders that have made a difference.
- Log in. You must have a username and password for the NSVRC website to submit a story. If you already have login credentials for the NSVRC website there is no need to create new ones. If you do not have a username and password, create your account now. You will be sent an email confirming your new account.
- Submit your story through our online submission form about a time when you experienced or witnessed someone acting as an engaged bystander and intervened to prevent a potentially dangerous or inappropriate situation. We are interested in stories showing creative, non-violent ways to stop sexual violence.
Your story will be reviewed and may be edited by NSVRC staff before posting. Stories may be posted online or used in other educational contexts. Select contributors may be invited to participate in a podcast with NSVRC staff – participation is voluntary. If you have any questions, please contact us at 877-739-3895 or resources@nsvrc.org.
