In an effort to be a helping resource & a connecting bridge to healing for individuals suffering, Trabscend Sober Living, LLC is holding a Trauma Healing Intensive Workshop in November located in Big bear, CA. There will be one workshop for men only November 4th-8th, and another separate workshop for females November 11th-15th. . The workshop will be focused solely around learning coping mechanisms, tools & advancing the healing process for victims suffering from all levels of trauma including rape, PTSD, discrimination, violence, abuse, grievance a death, domestic abuse, and so on. It's a 5 day workshop which will be lead by Judy Crane of the country's leading trauma treatment center "The Refuge" who is unanimously known for they're incredible process groups circled around trauma & the path to healing these burdens of the past.

Bystander intervention has emerged as a popular and powerful strategy for the prevention of sexual and domestic violence.  This web conference will further national dialogue on the strategy, with a particular focus on social justice.  It will highlight new publications about bystander intervention from the National Sexual Violence Resource Center, as well as provide examples of successful integration of a social justice framework into the strategy.

The 32nd Annual Research and Treatment Conference sponsored by the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers will be held at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers in Chicago, Illinois, October 30 through November 2, 2013.
