Director of Coordinated Community Response
Possesses at a minimum a Bachelor’s Degree, two years of management/supervision experience, and three years experience in the domestic violence movement; or a high school/equivalency diploma, four years management/supervision experience, and three years of experience in the domestic violence movement. The candidate will understand the root causes of violence against women and oppressed groups, have proven experience managing large scale community change projects, and will have excellent writing and organizational skills. The candidate must have worked within or in close partnership with the Department of Children and Families, a Community Based Care agency, or a related child welfare agency. The Director is responsible for the oversight of FCADV’s Coordinated Community Response programs and must have extensive experience in the intersection of domestic violence and child welfare as well as the criminal justice system response to domestic violence. This position requires extensive travel and is based in Tallahassee, Florida.
