The National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center, Inc. (NIWRC) seeks an organized and detail oriented individual to fill the position of Finance Director. The Finance Director will manage all activities related to the finances and human resources of the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center, Inc. Applicants must have strong administrative and financial management skills; bookkeeping and accounting experience is required. This person will report to the Executive Director and will work as a member of the management team, and in coordination with the staff and Board of Directors. Qualifications: 
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, ideally with a CPA, MBA, or similar degree in a relevant field. • At least 4 years of overall professional experience; ideally 3+ years of broad financial and administrative management experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector and with Federal and private funding. • Knowledge in federal grant compliance, in particular OMB Circulars A-110, A-122, and A-133. • Excellent computer skills; knowledgeable in Excel and various accounting software management systems, preferably Intaact. • Ideal candidate has had final responsibility for the quality and content of financial data, reporting and audit coordination for an organization or significant program. • Ability to effectively collaborate with and to communicate financial concepts to programmatic and fundraising colleagues who do not necessarily have finance backgrounds. • Flexible and a self-starter; able to manage multiple priorities while also being highly detailoriented. • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to resolve issues quickly and make decisions in a collaborative culture. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships. • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the NIWRC’s mission. • Experience with financial management over multiple offices, and with off-site staff preferred.
