Provide leadership, coordination, and training for campus interpersonal violence education and prevention efforts. Participates in the development of strategic plans, goals and measurable objects for violence prevention programs and services. Provide prevention education on interpersonal violence, including sexual violence, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking, using health promotion, behavior change theories, and the socio-ecological framework. Promote individual and community accountability (via bystander intervention). Promote positive change in campus norms surrounding sexuality, violence, gender, and oppression. Promote a campus culture of caring and respect. Empower by providing clear and timely information so that constituents may make informed decisions that uniquely reflect their needs.
