ASISTA is a network of attorneys and advocates across the nation working at the intersection of immigration and gender-based violence.
Through policy change and legal support, we are challenging the oppressive systems that endanger survivors.

Established in 2002 as 501-C (3) non-profit organization, the North American Islamic Shelter for Abused (NISA) was created to alleviate challenges related to abuse and domestic violence, issues statistically on the rise within the Muslim community. NISA aims to address the concepts of ‘ma’roof’ and ‘munkar’: enjoining what is right & forbidding what is wrong, while examining disputes within families, as well as addressing elder abuse, premarital counseling, spiritual counseling and community outreach awareness

The Asian Pacific Institute on Gender-Based Violence (API-GBV) is a national resource center on domestic violence, sexual violence, trafficking, and other forms of gender-based violence in Asian and Pacific Islander communities. It analyzes critical issues affecting Asian and Pacific Islander survivors; provides training, technical assistance, and policy analysis; and maintains a clearinghouse of information on gender violence, current research, and culturally-specific models of intervention and community engagement. National organization providing information, technical assistance, and training. We also host the Muslim Advocacy Network Against Domestic Violence (MANADV) along with NRCDV

The Peaceful Families Project (PFP) is an initiative devoted to ending domestic violence in Muslim families by facilitating awareness workshops for Muslim leaders and communities, providing cultural sensitivity trainings and technical assistance for professionals, conducting research, and developing resources. 

Catholics For Family Peace Education and Research on Domestic Abuse is an Initiative of the National Institute for the Family providing education, resources, and research that help Catholics promote peace within families and to recognize and respond with compassion to domestic abuse.

We are a hotline for runaway/homeless youth and their families. We’re here 24/7. There is always someone available to listen and offer confidential, non-directive and non-judgemental support.

We’re trained to help. Each team member is prepared to listen to your story, help you handle a crisis and guide you to solutions that will improve your situation.

Pride Institute offers inclusive and accepting recovery programs for members of the LGBTQ+ community. Pride first opened in 1986 and has since gone on to be one of the leading providers in the area of residential and outpatient program treatment for substance use and addiction needs of the LGBTQ+ population.

A project of the National Domestic Violence Hotline, love is respect offers 24/7 information, support, and advocacy to young people between the ages of 13 and 26 who have questions or concerns about their romantic relationships. 

The Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies was formed in May 2017 when the two leading Jewish services associations – the Association of Jewish Family and Children’s Agencies (AJFCA) and the International Association of Jewish Vocational Services (IAJVS) – joined forces.

The Network is an international membership association of more than 150 non profit human service agencies in the United States, Canada and Israel. Its members provide a full range of human services for the Jewish community and beyond, including healthcare, career, employment and mental health services, as well as programs for youth, families and seniors, Holocaust survivors, immigrants and refugees, persons with disabilities and caregivers.

The Network strives to be the leading voice for the Jewish human service sector. As the go-to resource for advocacy, best practices, innovation and research, partnerships and collaborations, The Network strengthens agencies so they can better serve their communities.

The mission of Shalom Task Force, Inc (STF) is to combat and prevent domestic violence and foster healthy and safe relationships and families. STF focuses its work in the Jewish community, to help those that may not have access to traditional services and need culturally sensitive programming. Shalom Task Force believes everyone has the right to be safe in their relationship and family.
