The 8th Annual Race to Stop the Silence (Stop Child Sexual Abuse) on April 29, 2012, in the heart of downtown Washington, D.C., is just around the corner. A scenic, flat and fast course, the race is incredibly fun and upbeat.. and educational to boot! It includes a timed 8K Race, a 5K run (timed but no prizes), a 1K kids' run (all kids get prizes), music, motivational speakers, organizational booths, fun and games for the kids, great prizes, and more.
