Campus-based alcohol and other drug (AOD) and violence prevention efforts are more effective when they are guided by the latest research and tailored to local campus circumstances. Key to this process is conducting a campus-based assessment and consulting the research literature. In this 90-minute Webinar , participants will be able to explain the importance of systematic planning in creating comprehensive, tailored AOD and violence prevention efforts, describe how one campus used data and research to create their violence prevention and AOD prevention efforts, list several approaches for locating and collecting data and research for prevention planning and access additional prevention resources from the Higher Education Center.
