Qualifications:
Required Skills/Education/Qualifications
A successful applicant MUST have:
• Extensive experience working in the fields of domestic violence/sexual violence/stalking, and be knowledgeable about the domestic and sexual violence service provider community including state coalitions, local programs, community‐based organizations serving marginalized communities and national technical assistance providers. Experience working with or at a state coalition is STRONGLY preferred.
• Knowledge on the intersection of technology, confidentiality, and violence against women.
• Commitment to the agency mission and an understanding of a feminist philosophy.
• Strong advocacy skills and a survivor‐centered philosophy. At least three years experience providing training and outstanding public speaking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and effectively with the a team, other staff, other organizations, and other professionals; treat all people with dignity and a respectful attitude; accept, act upon, and offer constructive criticism; and approach situations with a sense of humor. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, manage time, evaluate progress, and adjust activities to complete tasks within established time frames and produce high quality work.
• Demonstrated goal setting, problem solving, creative/analytic thinking skills, and organization skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including a strong grasp of English grammar and punctuation.
• Ability to work independently and be highly organized, detail‐oriented, and self‐motivated.
• Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with advanced features of MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with a nonprofit agency in a relevant area.
Desired Skills/Qualifications
• Attended at least 1‐2 Safety Net Training of Trainers. Knowledgeable about technology, safety and privacy.
• Bi ‐Lingual skills (reading, writing, and speaking) would be nice. Spanish preferred.
• Video editing and other multi‐media skills preferred.
