The National Online Resource Center on Violence Against Women (VAWnet), a CDC-funded project of the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence (NRCDV), is an easily accessible and comprehensive collection of full-text, searchable electronic resources on domestic violence, sexual violence and related issues.

The NSVRC works in collaboration with the NRCDV to coordinate the sexual violence initiatives of VAWnet, including content development, content review, outreach and evaluation.
VAWnet Features to Watch:
VAWnet enters the realm of Web 2.0 with an interactive
blogging feature, the TA Question of the Month . Each month, members of NSVRC and NRCDV share an interesting question and response.
September's Question: "How can I advocate within the legal system to work with victims who are nonverbal?"

Changing Perceptions of Sexual Violence Over Time
(2011) by Sarah McMahon with contributions from Karen Baker.
The author reviews available research on perceptions held by the general public about sexual violence and how they have changed over time. She also makes recommendations for future practice, which include discussing the root causes of sexual violence and addressing subtle victim blaming.
