This fact sheet [2] and accompanying report [3] were developed as part of a large contract, “Evaluation Assistance for Projects Designed to Prevent First-Time Male Perpetration of Sexual Violence,” funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and conducted by RTI International (a trade name for Research Triangle Institute). The study was initiated in September 2002 to identify sexual violence prevention programs and provide evaluation technical assistance. The National Sexual Violence Resource Center can provide additional information on the programs that were highlighted.
