The 2013 National Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) campaign focuses on healthy sexuality and child sexual abuse prevention. This April, join the conversation. Start talking about healthy childhood development to prevent child sexual abuse.

This campaign provides tools and information on healthy childhood sexual development for adults to use in approaching our responsibility to protect children. Learning about healthy childhood sexual development helps adults promote positive characteristics, skills and behaviors. These tools support parents, communities and organizations in identifying risk factors, supporting healthy boundaries and challenging negative messages. Many resources are also available in Spanish [1].
