This is the report from the task force assembled to assess the delays in existing DNA analysis and develop recommendations for eliminating those delays.

Report to the Attorney General on Delays in Forensic DNA Analysis

This report includes findings from a national needs assessment that was conducted in 2005 with support from the Office for Victims of Crime. The goals of the survey were to (1) record the organization and administration of Sexual Assault Response Teams (SART) nationally as an introductory “portrait” of collaborative responses and (2) collect data about SART training and technical assistance needs for inclusion in a forthcoming National SART Toolkit.

This report provides an assessment of the US Military Academy & US Naval Academy’s ability to address sexual harassment and assault within their institutions. It provides task force recommendations on how academies can better address these issues.

This report and accompanying fact sheet were developed as part of a large contract, “Evaluation Assistance for Projects Designed to Prevent First-Time Male Perpetration of Sexual Violence,” funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and conducted by RTI International (a trade name for Research Triangle Institute). The study was initiated in September 2002 to identify sexual violence prevention programs and provide evaluation technical assistance. The National Sexual Violence Resource Center can provide additional information on the programs that were highlighted.

Report Describing Projects Designed to Prevent First Time Male Perpetration of Sexual Violence (Updated)

Provides an assessment of the Air Force’s capability to prevent and respond to sexual assault. This assessment was conducted in response to allegations made in January 2003 of sexual assault at the United States Air Force Academy. The report explains the methodology used and also provides findings and recommendations.
