The Guide identifies issues and considerations unique to survivors who have experienced multiple victimizations and have multiple needs and describes advocacy and organizational approaches. Developed specifically for rape crisis centers and victim advocates working within criminal justice system agencies, the Guide offers practical strategies for assessing and enhancing responses to this specific population.
This report includes findings from a national needs assessment that was conducted in 2005 with support from the Office for Victims of Crime. The goals of the survey were to (1) record the organization and administration of Sexual Assault Response Teams (SART) nationally as an introductory “portrait” of collaborative responses and (2) collect data about SART training and technical assistance needs for inclusion in a forthcoming National SART Toolkit.
This plan was developed to prioritize prevention efforts in the state of Oregon and to "identify innovative, evidence-based, comprehensive sexual assault prevention initiatives" and offer directions to build upon these efforts.
