Purpose

As part of our Violence Against Women Statewide Prevention Project, EPIC has been working with key partners on strengthening statewide efforts for the prevention of violence against women (VAW). For the past three years, we have held a special "forum" for VAW prevention advocates to strengthen capacity and collaboration for primary prevention program and policy development. We feel the opportunity to support a learning community and "continue the dialogue" is critically important for all of us doing this work, and have scheduled another VAW Forum in Sacramento.

Who Should Attend

Sessions are designed for VAW prevention advocates and educators currently designing or implementing VAW primary prevention programs, and include opportunities for crticial conversations and sharing of promising practices.

Registration

There are no registration fees for this event, and there are a limited number of scholarships available to assist with travel and lodging costs.
