Legal Momentum (formerly National Organization for Women Legal Defense & Education Fund) strives to achieve equality and improve the lives of women and girls by transforming the institutions and values of our society through legal advocacy, public policy development, communications, education, and strategies alliances. It also offers free, confidential legal information, as well as referrals to direct service providers across the country, and legal resource kits.

National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs (NCAVP)

The National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs seeks to address the pervasive problem of violence committed against and within the nation’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and HIV-positive communities. NCAVP is a coalition of programs, located across the country, that documents and advocates for victims of anti-LGBT and anti-HIV/AIDS violence and harassment, domestic violence, rape and sexual assault, police misconduct and other forms of victimization. NCAVP publishes two national reports on violence annually.
