Legal Aid for Survivors of Sexual Assault (LASSA) is a statewide, collaborative network of legal service organizations working to ensure survivors have access to critical civil legal services throughout Texas. The network provides free legal education, advice, representation, and other resources.

Since the LASSA program’s inception in October 2015, the network of legal aid providers has handled thousands of cases involving survivors of sexual assault.

Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC) formed in 1969 to fight discrimination against the Mexican American community. Inspired by Dolores Huerta and Cesar Chavez, we advocated for equity in education, politics, and labor conditions. Today, CPLC provides services to people of all backgrounds while honoring our Mexican-American roots.

With offices in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas, we impact more than 2 million lives every year.

Founded by Muslim women, Texas Muslim Women’s Foundation empowers, promotes and supports all women and their families—a mission that ultimately creates stronger communities. Since 2005, Texas Muslim Women’s Foundation has been an ambassador of the peaceful, caring Muslim community. Our programs are designed to promote peace in the home and the community through a comprehensive strategy of prevention and intervention.

The Muslim Community Center for Human Services (MCCHS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1995. The mission of MCCHS is to build strong families and harmonious communities, regardless of religion, ethnicity, race, or place of residence, by providing free and/or affordable healthcare, social services, and educational services to those who face barriers to accessing support due to language or cultural differences, or those who are uninsured or under-insured. MCCHS meets the health and social service needs of more than 160,000 immigrants and families from South East Asia, the Middle East and Africa who reside in North Texas.

Mosaic is a safe haven for survivors of human rights abuses, including human trafficking and domestic violence. We serve hundreds of clients who have overcome incredible adversity on their journey to independence in the United States. From aiding survivors of human trafficking and family violence to refugees from around the globe, Mosaic’s goal is to make the transition to freedom as easy as possible.

Asian Family Support Services of Austin (AFSSA, formerly SAHELI) transforms the lives of Asian and Pacific Islander families dealing with domestic violence, sexual assault and trafficking to ensure they are happy, thriving and productive members of our communities.

AFSSA does what no other domestic or sexual assault organization in Central Texas can. AFSSA provides a complete continuum of support in over 30 languages, with special care for the unique social, cultural and familial circumstances of the Asian and Pacific Islander communities.

We are a survivor-centered organization supporting women, men, and children who have been affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, or trafficking. Although AFSSA's focus is on the Asian community, we do not discriminate and our services are for anyone who needs assistance. Our services are based on the inherent philosophy that each individual’s experiences, level of resource access and needs differ from one case to another. We strive to provide tailored, cultural and language specific services to anyone who enters through our doors.

Legal Aid for Survivors of Sexual Assault (LASSA), a program of Texas Legal Services Center, provides free legal aid to survivors of sexual assault in the state of Texas. We have a toll free hotline which is answered Monday-Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM by friendly attorneys to answer legal questions regarding sexual assault.
