Deaf Vermonters Advocacy Services

About this Organization

Deaf Vermonters Advocacy Services (DVAS) is an agency that was officially established in 2000. They are an advocacy agency culturally and linguistically designed to meet specific needs of Deaf, Deaf/Blind and Hard of Hearing victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. DVAS provides direct services to victims, gives support to survivors, offers training to professionals, educates the Deaf and hearing community and works on collaborating with local agencies.

About this Organization

The AALV helps new Americans from all parts of the world gain independence in their new communities through a range of integration services, including bridging case management, workforce development, behavioral health awareness, and interpreter services programming. With support from our multicultural, multilingual staff, our clients are able to smoothly transition to living and working in Vermont.
