PAE’s Justice Sector Support Program for Liberia (JSSL) seeks a Sexual and Gender-based Violence (SGBV) Justice Advisor expert for a 12 month position to implement the JSSL Program and will provide advisor management services in support of the overall objective in Liberia.

Qualifications: 
• Provide support the SGBV Task Force or other Government of Liberia entity with responsibility for investigating and prosecuting SGBV crimes • Provide expert advice and support in English on a range of strategic and technical matters as they relate to SGBV crimes including justice reform, case management procedures, dealing with SGBV victims, advocacy skills, prosecution strategies, and training as determined in consultation with the INL Director in Monrovia and the Ministry of Justice. The SGBV Justice Advisor shall meet the following required qualifications: • Must have a law degree from an U.S. accredited law school; • Must have five years’ experience in prosecuting criminal cases; • Must have three years’ experience in prosecuting SGBV cases; • Must have one year or more of international experience. • In possession of a valid driving license for at least one year; • Must be able to communicate in English with accuracy and fluency in order to participate fully and effectively in conversations on a variety of topics in formal and informal settings from both concrete and abstract perspectives; • Must be able to discuss their interests and special fields of competence, explain complex matters in detail, and provide lengthy and coherent narrations, all with ease, fluency, and accuracy. If verification of English competency is requested by INL, candidates must receive a superior level rating from the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) • Must be able to obtain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) certificate • Must be able to be medically cleared to perform on contract.
