The YWCA Greater Harrisburg’s YouthBuild program is seeking members of the community to serve as mentors. YouthBuild serves young adults ages 18-24 working on achieving their GED and a technical certificate. They also participate in a community service project.Youthbuild has three main goals for each student: attain their GED; attain their vocational certificate; and get a job or continue post-secondary education. Time commitment for a mentor is 4 hours a month for a minimum of nine months. Email for more information on how to become a mentor.
