The National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) and the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) are pleased to honor Lindsay Anne Palmer with the annual Gail Burns‐Smith Award, during the National Sexual Assault Conference in Chicago on Aug. 22‐24.

I recently had the opportunity to take part in a training with our partner organization, the International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN). We traveled to the Western region of the US and provided guidance to communities on developing a sexual assault forensic exam protocol.
