Each April, Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) offers a powerful opportunity to not only affirm our efforts to prevent sexual abuse, assault, and harassment alongside our partners and fellow advocates—but also to to educate and welcome new voices to the movement.
At NSVRC we believe education is an essential foundation to not only understanding sexual abuse, assault, and harassment, but to understanding that prevention is possible and we can all play a role. That’s why we created three new educational resources—tools designed to meet people where they are and help build understanding, spark conversations, and inspire action.
These materials are written in plain language and available in both English and Spanish, making them accessible to a wide range of audiences. Whether you're a community member, educator, service provider, or someone just beginning to learn about these issues, these resources are here to support your journey.

We invite you to explore, share, and use these resources in your communities. Together, we can help build communities where everyone is safe and treated with respect.
