SPARTA is a group of transgender people who currently serve or have served in the military. SPART*A is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization not affiliated with the Department of Defense. Membership is open to transgender (to include non-binary and gender-nonconforming) individuals currently serving in the United States Armed Forces. We also offer smaller groups for families of transgender service members, veterans, and allies.

Formed through the merger of the American Military Partner Association and OutServe-SLDN, the Modern Military Association of America is the nation’s largest non-profit organization dedicated to advancing fairness and equality for the LGBTQ+ military and veteran community. Through education, advocacy, and support, we are making a real difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ servicemembers, military spouses, veterans, family members, survivors, and caregivers.

We make finding the right shelter and information about domestic violence easier. Instead of searching the Internet, it is all right here. We’ve painstakingly verified information on shelters in LA to shelters in NY, and every domestic violence program in between. If you or a friend is suffering from physical abuse, emotional abuse, psychological abuse or verbal abuse, this free service can help. Select domestic violence programs based on location, service and language needs. Find 24-hour hotlines in your area, service listings, and helpful articles on domestic violence statistics, signs and cycles of abuse, housing services, emergency services, legal and financial services, support groups for women, children and families, and more.

• We help individuals and communities build loving and equitable relationships.

• Our services are survivor-centric. We work with LGBTQ survivors to strengthen their own social networks and actively resist abuse.

• Our roots are in the community. LGBTQ people’s intimate relationships and experiences of victimization have been dismissed as marginal, unnatural or insignificant. As one of only a handful of LGBTQ-specific domestic violence agencies in the United States, we bring the experiences of LGBTQ people to the forefront of our work.

• All participants have the right to support that respects their complex lived experiences and does not value people differently based on their race, color, ethnicity, religion, family structure, sexual or gender identity and expression, national origin, immigration statues, physical or mental health status, disability, physical appearance, substance use, economic status, or engagement in sex work.

• Our direct services are all free and confidential. We also offer resources for organizations and providers working in the field.

The National Human Trafficking Hotline connects victims and survivors of sex and labor trafficking with services and supports to get help and stay safe. The Trafficking Hotline also receives tips about potential situations of sex and labor trafficking and facilitates reporting that information to the appropriate authorities in certain cases. 

QTPoC Mental Health exists to provide greater access to community healing. We host meditations for queer & trans people of color (QTPoC) and publish original art and writing on www.restforresistance.com

QTPoC Mental Health empowers the community through knowledge and compassion, with the ultimate goals of creating online & offline spaces for LGBTQ2IA people of color to be comfortably, unapologetically our whole selves.

The volunteer-led group uplifts QTPoC in our intersecting identities, understanding that this means different things to different people.

Crisis Text Line provides free, 24/7, high-quality text-based mental health support and crisis intervention by empowering a community of trained volunteers to support people in their moments of need.

BlackLine® is a 24-hour hotline geared towards the Black, Black LGBTQI, Brown, Native and Muslim community. However, no one will be turned away from the Hotline.

The purpose of the BlackLine is to provide people with an anonymous and confidential avenue to report negative, physical, and inappropriate contact with police and vigilantes. We include vigilante contact because of what can happen to folks in rural and suburban communities at the hands of local community members. BlackLine can gather needed information to share with local community organizers and officials to create the most effective response to police and/or vigilante contact. Another component of the BlackLine is to provide immediate crisis counseling to those who are upset, need to talk with someone immediately, or are in distress.

Trans Lifeline is a grassroots hotline and microgrants 501(c)(3) non-profit organization offering direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis – for the trans community, by the trans community.

Desi Rainbow Parents & Allies works to provide affirming spaces for South Asian LGBTQ+ individuals and their families to talk about issues related to gender identity and sexual orientation. We all come from different circumstances and backgrounds, but we share the desire to find culturally sensitive support that will help our family stay whole and healthy. DRPA offers two support groups to best suit your needs.
