The World Health Organization released this two-page fact sheet on factors that can increase child abuse, sexual violence, intimate partner violence, and exploitation (i.e., trafficking) in a disaster. It recommends strategies for health workers and other service providers to prevent and respond to violence during disaster and recovery.
