In our rapidly changing field, NEARI Press strives to bring you the best thinking to guide your work with at-risk children, youth and adults. As a nonprofit organization our mission is to ensure that the professionals working with these target populations have access to the best information, training, and skill building opportunities available.

NAPIESV is a national organization established by API anti-sexual assault advocates to give voice to the experiences of API women and girls who are victims of sexual assault. NAPIESV’s goal is to provide technical assistance to culturally and linguistically specific organizations that are currently serving or attempting to serve victims of sexual assault in the Asian Pacific Islander communities.

The Virtual Knowledge Centre is a unique, on-line resource in English, French and Spanish, offering a `one-stop’ source of state-of-the-art tools and high-quality step-by-step guidance on `how to’ design, implement, monitor and evaluate programmes.  Developed with leading experts and organizations from across the world, it draws on promising practices, lessons learned and evaluations to support country level implementation of policy commitments. The site contains programming modules by sector (e.g. health, justice), population group (adolescents, men and boys) and intervention (primary prevention, safe cities), in addition to over 750 tools in more than 50 languages.  

Safer Society Foundation provides resources for the prevention and treatment of sexual abuse. Safer Society Press publishes books for survivors, offenders, professionals,family and friends, and on prevention. The Foundation operates a free referral service for those seeking specialized treatment for sexual offending.

NCVLI seeks to actively promote balance and fairness in the justice system through crime victim centered legal advocacy, education, and resource sharing.

The Victim Rights Law Center is Leading a New Response to Sexual Violence. Founded as the first law center in the nation dedicated solely to serving the legal needs of sexual assault victims, the Victim Rights Law Center is the leader in representing sexual assault victims’ legal rights within the civil context. We not only provide legal representation to victims of rape and sexual assault to help rebuild their lives, but also promote a national movement committed to seeking justice for every rape and sexual assault victim. Through an innovative model of community collaboration, we have created a network of allies (medical providers, counselors, lawyers) dedicated to improving legal services for rape victims. They have offices in MA and OR.

The Victim Rights Law Center engages in three primary activities:

• Technical Assistance

The National Center for Rural Law Enforcement provides training, curriculum, trends updates, and technical assistance to law enforcement agencies in rural areas nationally.  Technical assistance related to Rural Sexual Assault Curriculum Development is a current project of this organization.

The National District Attorneys Association's National Center for the Prosecution of Violence Against Women (NCPVAW) exists to serve prosecutors, members of the prosecution team and other allied professionals as they strive to deliver justice to all survivors of domestic violence / dating violence, sexual violence, and stalking and to hold criminals accountable. We all know that in reality domestic violence does not discriminate in selecting its victims from among members of our families, communities, schools, places of worship and places of work; the places in our world that should be safe from violence. While we are painfully aware that anyone can be a victim of domestic violence irrespective of age, ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, or economic status, studies do support the fact that the majority of the victims are females who are unfortunately abused by their male or female partners.  We do not, nonetheless, overlook men who may be victims of these acts of violence by their male or female partners. Although these studies and statistics may be complex our mission is straight forward: to spread education and awareness to ensure that men and women work collaboratively to end the devastating impact caused by domestic violence to all victims.
·        We host national training events, the Prosecuting Sexual Assault Cases Course.

·        We can design and provide hands-on trial advocacy training geared towards developing and fine tuning litigation skills for prosecutors who handle sex crimes and domestic violence / dating violence and stalking cases.

·        We provide training at state and local conferences on subjects that are relevant to the jurisdictions, expertly delivered by experienced and tested trial and appellate prosecutors as well as scientific and medical experts.

·        We design and conduct multi-day state and local trainings, in consultation with our hosts, to address the needs expressed by the jurisdiction and audience type.

·        We provide resources on topics relevant to the prosecution of sexual assault, domestic violence, domestic violence in late life, dating violence, stalking and cyber stalking.

NCJFCJ provides technical assistance through their Enhancing Judicial Skills in Cases Involving Abuse and Sexual Assault Against the Elderly and Individuals with Disabilities project.
