About this Organization

Center for the Pacific Asian Family (CPAF) is dual domestic violence and sexual assault agency helping survivors and their families. Our mission is to build healthy and safe communities by addressing the root causes and consequences of family violence and violence against women. CPAF is committed to meeting the specific cultural and language needs of Asian Pacific Islander (API) women and their families. All of our services are free of charge and available in 30+ API languages.

About this Organization

Safe Bars uses innovative bystander-education strategies to empower D.C.-area bar staff to stand up against sexual harassment and assault. It also trains and provides technical assistance to people and groups all over the country and internationally to start Safe Bars programs where they live.

Breathe Network

About this Organization

The Breathe Network connects survivors of sexual violence with sliding-scale, trauma-informed, holistic healing arts practitioners across the country. We educate and train healing arts practitioners on the nuanced impacts of sexual violence as well as techniques to increase trauma-informed care within their practice in order to best serve the unique needs of survivors.

The Breathe Network

About this Organization

The Breathe Network: Building Resilience through Embodied Approaches To Healing, is a resource, referral and training network connecting survivors of sexual violence with holistic healing arts practitioners. All of the practitioners and organizations affiliated with our organization commit to offering sliding-scale, trauma-informed care. We provide training for holistic healing arts practitioners across a range of disciplines to ground them in a nuanced understanding of sexual violence, its mind, body and soul impacts, and offer them modality specific tools they can integrate within their practice.

Victims  of sexual violence in the DoD Community may click, call or text for anonymous assistance.  The Online Helpline provides live one-on-one help, 24/7.  DoD Safe Helpline is operated by RAINN, a civilian anti-sexual violence organization.  Victims who prefer to get help by phone can call 877-995-5247 to speak with Safe Helpline staff for personalized support. Safe Helpline staff can also transfer callers to an installation or base Sexual Assault Response Coordinators (SARCs), civilian rape crisis centers or the Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Victims who prefer to find out the resources in their local area can text their zip code or installation or base name to 55-247 (inside the U.S.) or 202-470-5546 (outside the U.S.) and receive contact information for the SARC on that installation or base.

About this Organization

The Victim Rights Law Center is Leading a New Response to Sexual Violence. Founded as the first law center in the nation dedicated solely to serving the legal needs of sexual assault victims, the Victim Rights Law Center is the leader in representing sexual assault victims’ legal rights within the civil context. We not only provide legal representation to victims of rape and sexual assault to help rebuild their lives, but also promote a national movement committed to seeking justice for every rape and sexual assault victim. Through an innovative model of community collaboration, we have created a network of allies (medical providers, counselors, lawyers) dedicated to improving legal services for rape victims. They have offices in MA and OR.

The Victim Rights Law Center engages in three primary activities:
