The Anti-Defamation League assists victims of discrimination or bias-motivated violence to achieve redress of justifiable grievances through mediation, administration, or judicial means. About this Organization

Abused Deaf Women’s Advocacy Services (ADWAS) provides advocacy and support to deaf, deaf-blind, and hard-of-hearing persons who are or were victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. ADWAS also provides preventive services such as a Positive Deaf Parenting Program, a Children’s Program, and community education. The organization currently has a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice to offer training in cities in the United States to help set up local organizations similar to ADWAS.

Gift from Within is a non-profit organization dedicated to those who suffer post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), those at risk for PTSD, and those who care for traumatized individuals; develops and disseminates educational material, including videotapes, articles, books, and other resources through its website; and, maintains a roster of survivors who are willing to participate in an international network of peer support.

The Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking (CAST) is an alliance of nonprofit service providers, grassroots advocacy groups and activists dedicated to providing human services and human rights advocacy to victims of modern-day slavery. CAST was founded in 1998 in the aftermath of the El Monte sweatshop case. Its mission is to assist persons trafficked for the purpose of forced labor and slavery-like practices and to work toward ending all instances of such human rights violations.

Childhelp USA offers crisis intervention, information, literature, and referrals to the 55,000 agencies in their database and has the capacity to handle calls in 140 languages.

STAMP, Survivors Take Action Against Abuse by Military Personnel is a grassroots organization dedicated to seeking the highest level of honor and integrity of, by and from our military and government. Its members are men, women and children, active duty military from all branches, veterans, parents of murdered military and civilians globally who have had their personal boundaries violated. STAMP is an advocacy group that assists those in trouble by sharing information on how to nonviolently find legal and legitimate ways to seek relief.
