Sexual Assault Training & Investigations (SATI) provides effective, victim centered, multi-disciplinary training and expert consultation regarding crimes of sexual assault. SATI goals are to: provide cross training for all disciplines with an emphasis on the law enforcement investigation and proper police responses; counter crimes of sexual assault by ensuring a coordinated, competent, and effective response by all members of a Sexual Assault Response Team and other community stake holders to hold sex offenders accountable; and increase reporting of sexual assault by providing responders with information that will give them the ability to effectively respond to all forms of sexual assault.

The Sexual Information and Education Council of the United States (SIECUS) is a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to affirming that sexuality is a natural and healthy part of life. SIECUS develops, collects, and disseminates information, promotes comprehensive education about sexuality, and advocates the right of individuals to make responsible sexual choices.

The Sexual Violence Prevention Association (SVPA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing sexual violence systemically by revolutionizing policy, research, and institutions. 

SVPA Score

The SVPA Score assesses universities' policies, programs, and procedures regarding sexual violence prevention and survivor support. As the only national bench-mark for campus sexual violence practices, the SVPA Score provides critical standardization and transparency. The SVPA Score will soon be a factor included in ranking and comparison systems such as USNews and Niche. Within five years, the SVPA plans to expand the score to evaluate the practices of companies and other institutions.

Data & Research

The SVPA maintains the largest and most extensive database for sexual violence prevention data. This data is the foundation for machine learning algorithms, big-data analytics, and statistical evaluation that expand the research for effective prevention strategies. These insights are imperative to the future of sexual violence prevention on campuses, within companies, and throughout all institutions including legislative policy.

Policy Activism

As the only national organization dedicated to preventing sexual violence systemically, the SVPA is committed to dismantling the social structures that uphold and encourage sexual violence. This includes advocating for and analyzing public policy at the local, state, and national levels. Our activism is directly informed by the insights from our data and research. Our strategy is based on the empowerment model and grassroots community organizing.

Activist Training

The SVPA Activist Training is an experiential curriculum for organizations, unions, clubs, organizers, student activists, and other groups. The training empowers groups to advocate for sexual violence prevention with direct institutional action and systemic objectives. Our curriculum is tailored to the goals and scope of each group. This includes campus and workplace action as well as policy advocacy at a local, state, and national level. 

SVPA Campus Membership 

The SVPA Campus Membership provides products, materials, insights, and a community of engagement. The membership directly addresses the siloed nature of sexual violence prevention. The SVPA Campus Membership increases efficiency and coordination between and amongst university administrators, students, advocacy organizations, support services, researchers, and policymakers.

The mission of Shalom Task Force, Inc (STF) is to combat and prevent domestic violence and foster healthy and safe relationships and families. STF focuses its work in the Jewish community, to help those that may not have access to traditional services and need culturally sensitive programming. Shalom Task Force believes everyone has the right to be safe in their relationship and family.

Our story began in 1998 when U.S. Congresswoman Linda Smith traveled into the heart of the brothel district in Mumbai, India. The brutal sexual slavery and exploitation of women and children she witnessed there inspired her to establish Shared Hope International to help bring healing to devastated lives. Our dynamic story of prevention, restoration and justice initiatives has continued unbroken, as you will see as you scroll through the timeline that follows this brief video.

Because many people underestimate the developmental, emotional, psychological, and spiritual injuries that can result when people experience or witness traumatic events, Sidran Traumatic Stress Institute, Inc. (formerly Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of international scope that helps people understand, recover from, and treat traumatic stress (including PTSD)
dissociative disorders, and co-occurring issues, such as addictions, self injury, and suicidality.

Sidran Traumatic Stress Institute, Inc. is a nonprofit organization of international scope exclusively focused on educating patients, healthcare providers, and the public about recovery from traumatic stress (including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Sidran develops and delivers books and videotapes, assessment and teaching tools, and educational programs customized to meet the needs of specific consumer and professional populations. Sidran collaborates with other nonprofit organizations, private providers, government agencies (local, county, state, and federal), media and industry to raise the level of understanding and competence in regard to traumatic stress conditions.

Sikh Family Center promotes community health and well-being with a special focus on gender justice. We provide trauma-centered interventions for victim-survivors of violence while working to change the social and cultural conditions that allow gendered violence to occur in the first place. Our training, outreach, and advocacy are grounded in cultural tradition, grassroots power, and intergenerational healing.

As Nevada’s statewide LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, Silver State Equality brings the voices of LGBTQ+ people and allies to institutions of power in Nevada and across the United States, striving to create a world that is healthy, just and fully equal for all LGBTQ+ people.
