Casa de la Familia (CDLF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1996 by Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Ana Nogales, whose vision was to create an organization dedicated to ensuring the long-lasting mental health success of individuals who have experienced a psychological trauma. 

Casa de la Familia provides individual counseling, family counseling, group counseling, support groups, advocacy, crisis intervention, and outreach to both Los Angeles and Orange Counties

SAHARA serves survivors of all forms of abuse within the South Asian community in Southern California with culturally sensitive and linguistically specific services.

 SEMAH  stands for the principles of Safety, Education, Mutual Respect, Awareness and Hope. We believe that these principles are crucial towards building healthy relationships with oneself, between individuals, families and communities. Our mission is the promotion of healthier relationships and prevention of domestic violence through education and awareness of options. We want to be a conduit for resources to empower and enable victims and perpetrators to finally find a way out of the vicious circle of abuse. We will work with communities not well served with a special focus on the Muslim and inter-faith communities.

Maitri primarily helps individuals & families from South Asia facing domestic violence, emotional abuse, cultural alienation, human trafficking or family conflict. The California Partnership to End Domestic Violence (the Partnership) is California’s recognized domestic violence coalition, representing over 1,000 survivors, advocates, organizations and allied individuals across the state. Working at the local, state, and national levels for nearly 40 years, the Partnership has a long track record of successfully passing over 200 pieces of legislation on behalf of domestic violence victims and their children. The Partnership believes that by collectively working  with our diverse membership, advocates, and state policy makers, we can deepen the process of healing and restoration by identifying and addressing the underlying and contributing factors.

SAN offers the following services for domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, child sexual abuse, human trafficking, and elder abuse:

• Safety planning for survivors and their children
• Case management and advocacy including shelter placement, court accompaniment, access to public benefits and financial literacy
• Counseling and emotional support for survivors and their children
• Access to legal assistance in the areas of family and immigration law
• Parenting classes
• Teen dating violence prevention workshops
• Children’s art workshops
• Groups for young women being pressured into marriage
• Interpretation
• Community workshops to raise awareness about domestic violence and child abuse and the resources available
• Prevention workshops and activities in collaboration with religious and community leaders

The Mission of the Positive Results Center (PRC) is to create awareness and prevent the trauma that comes from experiencing violence and abuse. We specialize in addressing the impacts and source of bullying, sexual abuse, dating, domestic or inter-personal violence and sex trafficking.

Our goal is to help people Create Healthy Relationships for themselves, their families and the community at large. We believe that when you positively impact one life, you create space for everyone to live life abundantly!

MUA is one of the few programs founded on the concept that immigrant women themselves are uniquely equipped to find solutions to the problems that most directly affect their lives. MUA’s direct service program is rooted in this philosophy by ensuring that the services we offer –

• individual and group counseling
• support groups
• referrals and accompaniment to other community resources,
• domestic violence and sexual assault intervention
• workforce development programs

– are offered and implemented by Latina immigrant women. MUA draws on the strengths of our community members to serve as peer mentors, group facilitators, community educators, and counselors.
