DoD Safe Helpline is the sole secure, confidential, and anonymous crisis support service specially designed for members of the Department of Defense community affected by sexual assault.

Safe Helpline is the Department of Defense’s (DoD) sole hotline for members of the DoD community affected by sexual assault. Safe Helpline is a completely anonymous, confidential, 24/7, specialized service—providing help and information anytime, anywhere. A Safe Helpline user can access one-on-one support, peer-to-peer support, information, resources, and self-care exercises to aid in their recovery.  Since 2011, Safe Helpline has provided support and resources to thousands of members of the DoD community.

Safe Helpline is available worldwide and is operated by RAINN, a national anti-sexual violence organization, through a contract with the DoD Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office (DoD SAPRO). Safe Helpline works closely with DoD SAPRO, each of the Military Department SAPR offices and the installation-based SAPR programs to ensure that all Safe Helpline users receive the information, support and care they need at every stage of their healing process. To ensure the anonymity of Safe Helpline services, no personally identifiable information about a user will be shared with the DoD or the user’s chain of command. 

The Voices and Faces Project is an award-winning non-profit storytelling initiative created to bring the names, faces, and testimonies of survivors of gender-based violence to the attention of the public. Through our educational and advocacy trainings, our survivor story archives (housed at The Voices and Faces Project and World Without Exploitation), and our signature program, The Stories We Tell – an immersive, two-day testimonial writing workshop for survivors of sexual violence, intimate partner violence, and trafficking – we seek to change minds, hearts, and public policies through the power of personal testimony.

We believe that stories aren’t just found. They are cultivated. Those who choose to share them need to be encouraged, listened to, developed, and supported if their voices are to have an enduring effect on public attitudes and policies. The well-told story creates the space for the world to better understand the damage gender-based violence does to victims, families and communities. It breaks through partisan barriers in a way that statistics alone cannot. But our stories, strategically and mindfully told, do something more: They call the world not just to compassion, but social action. And action is what The Voices and Faces Project is all about.

Our mission is to help every survivor be their own greatest success in life; to give every survivor the strength and power to battle their life's hardships. Our mission is to offer solidarity and kinship in every survivor's hour of need; to make the lonely survivor a thing of the past. We work to dispel myths and increase education of the facts about abuse and rape worldwide.

Peace Over Violence is a nonprofit 501c3, multicultural, community based and volunteer centered organization dedicated to building healthy relationships, families and communities free from sexual, domestic and interpersonal violence. To achieve this mission our agency manages five departments delivering the services of Emergency, Intervention, Prevention, Education and Advocacy.

Pandora’s Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing information, support, and resources to survivors of rape and sexual abuse and their friends and family. We have been devoted to recovery and healing since 1999.

Pandora’s Project offers peer support to anyone who has been a victim of rape, sexual assault, or sexual abuse through our online support group, Pandora’s Aquarium. We believe that connecting with other rape and sexual abuse survivors is an important part of healing. Our online support group includes a message board, chat room, and blogs. It is free to join and is safely moderated by a diverse group of survivors.

Our Wave was created as a place of support and self-healing for loved ones who were impacted by a traumatic event. We wanted to bring together a community where this support and healing could be possible. Along the way, we saw how challenging it can be to share a story at all, much less publicly share something so deeply painful and personal.

We seek to decrease the prevalence of assault and create a world where survivors are believed and supported.

Our purpose is to reach out and offer hope to child abuse survivors
isurvive is an online abuse survivor support group. We are a volunteer-driven organization with a team composed of people from various places around the United States, Australia, Europe and the UK.

We offer resources and forums where adult survivors of child abuse and their loved ones can seek support. We are growing on a daily basis, reaching many people from all over the world and offering hope that healing can happen.

A place for adult women who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse to come together and find SAFETY, COMMUNITY, and EDUCATION.

ADAA works to prevent, treat, and cure anxiety disorders and depression.

ADAA’s promise is to find new treatments and one day prevent and cure anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and co-occurring disorders. ADAA improves the quality of life for those who suffer through evidence-based educational resources, professional practice, and scientific research. ADAA brings together mental health professionals who lend their time and expertise to improve patient care by promoting the implementation of best practices and treatments across disciplines through continuing education and training and accelerating dissemination of research into practice.
