Radiant Hands Inc. is a nonprofit organization originally established to serve North Central Florida. Radiant Hands Inc. fills a niche in the community assisting those who normally would “fall through the cracks” of normal social service providers. Radiant Hands strives to empower women and families by providing them with spiritual, emotional, educational, and financial support with the goal of helping them to achieve independence in mind. In doing so, we hope to encourage and enable women and families to contribute individually and collectively in strengthening our community as a whole.

Working to empower women in need, we provide educational resources, emotional, material and spiritual support. RAHAMA has been caring for victims, spreading awareness within our communities, collaborating with local agencies and representing the light of Islam since 2006. RAHAMA’s goal is to provide transitional housing to women and children in New York who are victims of domestic violence. ​Our volunteer staff consists of licensed social workers and mental health counselors who specialize in working with women and children.

Raksha, meaning protection in several South Asian languages, is a Georgia-based nonprofit organization for the South Asian Community. Raksha’s general direct services include crisis intervention, information and referrals, interpretation and translation, legal and general advocacy, individual and family counseling with children and adults encompassing a variety of issues facing the South Asian community. In addition to these services, we participated in a variety of community building and economic empowerment initiatives.

Raksha — meaning “protection” in several South Asian languages — is a Georgia-based nonprofit organization for the South Asian community. Though we primarily serve the South Asian community, we provide services to all those who face similar barriers to justice, regardless of ability, country of origin, race, religion, caste, socioeconomic status, gender identity, age, immigration status, or sexual orientation. Raksha’s mission is to promote a stronger and healthier South Asian community through confidential support services, education, and advocacy. Guided by values of consensus in decision-making, diversity in leadership, and the dignity and worth of every individual, Raksha strives to empower and serve the South Asian community.

Rape Counselors of East Alabama strives to provide 24-hour free and confidential services to victims of sexual assault, their families, and friends. RCEA is committed to empowering survivors and eliminating all forms of sexual violence in our community. Through education and awareness, RCEA aims to change the cultural norms that enable sexual assault to proliferate. Their service area includes: Lee, Tallapoosa, Macon, Chambers and Russell county with our office located in Auburn, AL. They welcome survivors of all genders, races, religions, incomes, languages, abilities, ethnicities, and sexual orientations.

Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) operates a 24-hour hotline for victims of sexual assault. Callers are routed automatically to the closest member rape crisis center for counseling. More than 890 centers participate in the network.

Refugee Women’s Alliance (ReWA) is an award-winning, nationally recognized nonprofit that provides holistic services to help refugee and immigrant women and families thrive.

Muslim women across the United States and in our local communities are severely impacted by sexual violence, while often being excluded from white-centered conversations and resources addressing the issue. Reviving Sisterhood is committed to transforming our communities into safer and more empowering spaces for survivors and their loved ones by addressing and preventing sexual violence.

The Roxcy Bolton Rape Treatment provides advocacy and accompaniment, crisis intervention, information and referral, and counseling to victims of sexual and their non- offending family members. Forensic examination is also done on-site by SANE trained ARNPs.

The vision of Saathi is the prevention of domestic violence and sexual abuse in the South Asian community.

The mission of Saathi is to empower people of South Asian origin in Western New York who are experiencing domestic violence to regain their dignity and rebuild their lives by becoming self-confident and self-sufficient.
