Support for Partners

About this Organization

Support for Partners is here to help provide some support for partners of those who have been sexually abused as children, provide resources to develop skills that help partners in their relationships, and provide information about abuse and its effects.

The complexities and challenges of relationships are magnified with survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Those who are in a partner-relationship with survivors often need some support and understanding to help them through the recovery process. Our online forum is a place where partners can both get and provide support.

Our mission is to help every survivor be their own greatest success in life; to give every survivor the strength and power to battle their life's hardships. Our mission is to offer solidarity and kinship in every survivor's hour of need; to make the lonely survivor a thing of the past. We work to dispel myths and increase education of the facts about abuse and rape worldwide.

Why We're Here
Our goal is to be a helping hand in every survivor's journey to recovery. While each survivor takes control of their own life, Survivors Chat seeks to be a source of support and encouragement; empowerment and courage, every step of the way. We are here to ensure that no survivor is left behind.

Survivors of Incest Anonymous

About this Organization

The SIA World Service Office serves both the many independent SIA support groups around the world, as well as individuals who contact us. We: publish and offer literature for sale; maintain the Directory of Meetings and keep current a list of members; maintain an SIA information phone line; issue quarterly Newsletters and offer speakers for outreach and education opportunities.

SIA, started in 1982, is a 12-Step, self-help recovery program modeled after Alcoholics Anonymous. There are no dues or fees. Confidentiality and anonymity are essential to our program. SIA is for men and women, 18 years and older, who were sexually abused as children. You will not be rejected because you think your abuse was “too horrible,” or you think your abuse wasn’t “bad enough to count.”
